Colorado GMU access?

Just playing devils advocate in my head.

I am interested in a spot that is in one GMU but to access it you would park and hike about about 1/4 mile into it from a different GMU. Assuming my son and I are successful will we have any issues if we meet a CO near our truck. I should probably rephrase it to how do we avoid any issues if we meet a CO near our truck?

GPS the location of your kill and offer to hike there with the CO.

i can respond with some authority on this. GPS the spot. perhaps even flag it and photgraph the kill site with reasonable evidence of the location visible. Every warden I know would generally except that at face value. Most would probably take the hike to verify. Most would be genuinely happy for your luck in getting an animal.

We do just that every couple years. Park and start hiking in one gmu to hunt another. Never been stopped after a kill but have talked it over with the warden. No issues as long as you willing and able to show him/her in our case, the gut pile....
