NR special not regular sorry I should have clarified.

I still have not seen NR Special Gen drawn with less than 2 points, on a first choice. I dont see how its possible with 100% odds regardless of special as a 2nd choice. I guess i have missed something.

I would not recommend Oregon at all.
Don’t waste your time

1. Too many wolves
2. Too many residents (human wolves) at 35$ a tag in the forest.
3. Just flat out too many people chopping wood, moving cows
4. In the midst of archery hunting, rifle shots go off for cow hunts, junior hunts, etc..

Being your from Wisconsin.

Go to Colorado or Idaho just due to proximity. You could even look at getting antlerless tags in WY or MT, and learn an area that way.

No sense in driving past elk to hunt elk. Unless it’s a bomber tag, or you are familiar with the area, etc.
