I got a subscription for Elk101 a few months back, and felt it was a mixed bag. The content is very well put together, and would be an incredible resource for a new/inexperienced elk hunter. If you have a decent idea of what you are doing, you probably aren't going to get much out of the course.
There were a few modules I was pretty stoked about reading (the scouting on google maps/earth portion for one), and the calling section. I felt like these just barely scratched the surface. The google earth part pretty much didn't even apply, since I hunt desert canyons and he's hunting/giving instructions about mountain country. I get that the things to look for are somewhat applicable (aka, find water, food and shelter), but it's just really not even close to as in depth as I was expecting.
If your new to the game, go for it. If your an old hat, I'd pass. Oh, and it's 99% archery focused. I wouldn't buy if I was a rifle hunter.
