I've got a custom finishing up here in the near future. It's a Defiance action with a 1/8 twist Bartlein #4 carbon wrapped barrel chambered in 257 Weatherby. My first rifle ever was a 257 so I'm kind of partial to it. What would you shoot in it for deer and antelope sized game? I was thinking of trying Hammers or some of the heavier Bergers. Up to now I've always used the 100 grain Barnes TTSX with great luck but was wanting something a little heavier to utilize the faster twist barrel. Let me know what you guys think!
