Fitting the SG sling to another pack

I'm looking to pick up Stone Glacier's quick release sling and fit it to my Seek Outside pack. I found threads on people doing this, but they're from before SG started offering two different styles of sling for their different packframes. Curious if anyone knows which style works better, or if it matters. I have an older Peregrine 3500.

I used the x curve style and also ordered the crux buckle. Attached it to the carry handle.

In the bottom I Attached it using an extra 1" gate keeper.
