Hey all, I found this forum while prepping for my recent CO elk hunt where I dropped a nice 6x5 with an OTC tag in Unit xx last week. I'm back and thought I'd join as I continue with my big game journey (as well as whitetail, mule deer, and turkey).

We did 2nd as well. Great WX right up until the snow and zero degrees!

Yup. That storm hit Monday and it got cold.... even later in the week the snow never burned off.

Out of 3 of us I was the only one to have any luck. Got a 4x5 bull on the opener. Then on Thursday I took the best Muley I will probably ever take. An old 7x7 horse. Both came in 551 public land.
