What foot wear is best for TTH , hiking boot , trail runners or other ?

What foot wear is best for TTH , hiking boot , trail runners or other ?

I wear my boots for the meat pack and then general trail runners for the challenge course

Like Brock, I used Salomon Quest 4Ds for the meat pack and Salomon Speedcross trail runners for the challenge course. There were a few guys using trail runners for the meat pack but with 80-100lb loads I wouldn't recommend it unless you're used to it.

I also use my hunting boots for the meat pack and I use the Salomon speedcross for the challenge course.
