Anyone build an arrow with these ?
Talked myself out of tapered shafts and went with the heavy hunters but the shaft weights are way inconsistent, a couple are
40 - 50 grains heavier, this is not making me happy.
Did I just get some oddballs or are they really that bad ???

Their website claims plus or minus 3 grains, I would contact them, probably ask for a refund or exchange. I shoot wood, and when putting together a dozen arrows for hunting, I keep them all within 10gr. or so of finished weight. 40-50gr. is too big of an inconsistency.

that seems like to much deviation. if they dont work out for you, take a look at the new GT trad classics. i just got some in .400 spine. they are like 11.4GPI and with the heavy inserts and collars make a VERY heavy arrow

Don't waste your $.
I think they are too fat and heavy over all.
I personally like skinny shafts with more FOC weight up front.
I shoot the Axis with 300 up fron and footed 1.5". Total weight is 630g.
Blew right through a white tail and a black bear.
I hoping for a Moose this Sept and another white tail this fall here is WEstern PA
