They are all the same,it depend on what type of woods and if you know how to use a damper.

i have a large box stove. i sealed the door better and added a flue damper. with our good hardwood here in australia if i load it up and shut it down i can get 8hrs with a bed of coals after that time.

I ran the 18" cylinder stove in mega tarp last season about 2 hours burn time
