Klamath v Furnace

I picked up a First Lite Klamath the other day while on sale. It came yesterday and I’m kind of surprised at how thin it is. I’m second guessing myself and wondering if I should have gotten the Furnace instead. For those that have both, how do they compare in warmth?

I’m a stand hunter and my intention for the Klamath is as an out layer over a merino baselayer and/or as a mid layer under the Woodbury when cold.

I have found the furnace to be warmer and a pretty impressive piece. The fit of the Klamath is much improved over the Halstead and I would assume its warmth is about the same as other fleeces of similar design.

I don’t own a furnace but I did run a Klamath over a Chama and a 200 merino base in the stand a bunch this year. It worked well for me in temps down to around the mid 40s as long as there wasn’t any wind. Wind will rip right through it.
