Hey all,
I have a Knight UL for hunting in Idaho and I’ve been working on getting it where I want it.
I have one remaining issue with the sights that I would appreciate advice on. I know there’s been info posted on this before, but many of the suggested parts don’t seem to be in stock any longer and I am not knowledgeable enough to source replacements. My front sight is stock and the rear is a NECG peep.
The issue is that I hate the big fiber optic front sight, mainly because it is big and fiber optic. It is pretty difficult to “aim small miss small” when your bead is a giant glowing orb. Could someone suggest a smaller diameter, non fiber optic front bead or globe sight? For those that have a globe sight, do you run in to issues while hunting with it such as snow packing in or icing up?
