I agree with the get what you pay for.
Just a thought:
If I were packing it in miles and wanted some way to cover multiple stand sites, it would buy a could climber and a few sets of steps. Either sticks or screw in pegs.
That way you have a high quality stand you can move as your needs dictate and even use it solo without steps as a climber. You can use steps at your regular locations which take away a lot of the pain in the ass factor acclimated with a pure climber stand. I climber is also going to be lighter than a hang on stand as a general rule.
