Does anyone use the Micro rocket. How does it work in high altitude?

I run a micro rocket. I don't think it's better or worse then any other canister fuel stove of similar design. It's not really the stove that is the issue. it's the cold and altitudes effect on fuel canisters that is the problem

If your really worried about performance I would look at the MSR reactor or the wind pro 2

Yep, the Reactor is the best I've used at high altitude.

We do most of our testing at 13K for stoves, and all the stoves did not perform well.

isobutane stoves work well at altitude. The cold is what kills them. If you can keep the canister warm they will work fine.

The JB is a little lighter, but after that the reactor wins out in just about everything else.
