Muskeg Spotting scope pocket?

Has anyone ran a Muskeg with a Spotting scope pocket? I'm really interested in the pack but lack of side pockets is keeping me from pulling the trigger.

I have the 7000ci but do not use a spotting scope pocket with it, I believe you can attach it to the front panel and still gain access to the offset side zipper to access the main bag.
