New frame for MR Marshal

Called MR to find out if the Marshal fits the Metcalf frame. It does. But the sales person mentioned that the Marshal will have a new frame after first of the year. It won’t be compatible with my current frame. Should I buy now or wait and roll the dice on a new style frame?

New frame is out. It is available on the selway, sawtooth and beartooth. It is called the guide light MT vs the old frame is just the guide light. Rumor is the new MT will be on all 2020 hunting packs. An old pack will work on the new frame. Needs a handful of buckles that MR sells for $10 or you can source elsewhere. The marshal is a monster pack. I think a lot of people buy them and decide it is too much pack and sell them lightly used.

If you own a Metcalf and frame, I would look for a used marshal. You might get one bag only. Even if you bought used and sold the frame you would should find one for a reasonable price.
