New guy from California

Just signed up today after using this site to research a recent pack purchase. 33 years old and still pretty new to hunting. Growing up on the coast I have been really been into fishing my whole life. I own a boat and enjoy ocean fishing where I live in Santa Cruz, as well as fly fishing for trout in the mountains. Picked up hunting a few years back as a hobby to do in the off season and quickly got bitten by the hunting bug. Have gone on a handful of hunts so far....learning a ton from the couple of guides I've hunted with and friends who hunt. I enjoy tinkering with rifles almost as much as hunting. Right now I have a nice savage 110 in 270 that has been cerakoted, re-stocked and bedded. Also recently picked up an EXO 3500 and want to start getting a little more off the beaten path. I look forward to learning more from you all and contributing where I can.
