Back when I was into diving, I used these to hang my BC's. No longer dive but I still have several and they work great for hanging packs on a wall or in a closet if need be. Will hold quite a bit of weight and they are like $6.

Uuuuummmmm... I have three packs next to my nightstand, decorating our bedroom. We've been back for ten days. Not their normal storage. They'll be emptied and put in bins the first day that I'm off work.
