That is a shame. Some of my older rugers are going to outlast me. Not super elegant but Tough, tough guns. I have two more recent 10/22s and a ruger American bolt gun that are shite. They just feel cheap. One of those 10/22s is down a ruger reciever and bolt. - trigger, stock, barrel, internals have been swapped out to the point that I should have just bought a volquartsenfor all the money I have in it.

Though, always wanted the MkIV for takedown ease.
