Secesh River Idaho

I'm planning a camping trip to north central Idaho durning the fourth of July. I would like to fish the Secesh River and maybe the South Fork Salmon River. Any advice or experience in this area? I will take a fly rod and spin tackle. Also what else is worth exploring? Thanks.
