Today is day 14. I definitely don't need to fill a tag every time, but it sure wear's on a guy when you're not even seeing deer. The hard part of only hunting one deer in particular. I'm in an area that is tough to hunt, but it's where he seems to be the most. Just not getting any daylight movement out of him. Looking forward to checking cameras tomorrow and see if I can figure out anything new.

Tomorrow is probably the last chance Hunter and I will have to get out for the early archery season. So he let an arrow fly tonight. This is where we left it after 140 yards, finish looking for it in the morning.

Reviewing camera pictures shows someone was sleeping when a buck walked past his stand last Saturday morning!! Oooops

It's morning 2 of rifle season, we're currently on stand. Hunter shot two does yesterday.

I saw 23 deer, only one smaller buck that I elected to pass. I was able to do a little predator management though.

We just passed a fawn. First deer of the morning.

I believe that fawn has moved on to better feeding grounds. 2 shots about 225 yards away in the direction it headed.

3 days of work in. I'm headed to Bayfield county for Turkey day and the long week-end. See if there are any deer alive left up there. Have a great holiday and stay safe!

I saw the same amount of Coyotes from stand as I did deer in Bayfield County, 3 in 4 days of sitting. Lots of Wolf tracks. We've got the ML's back out and double checked. Ready to go for deer again this week-end.

Saw a lot of deer with muzzle loader but no shots at anything I was looking for.
