Yes they destroy good coyote set. I was checking my dads snares one day and he had one in a fence crawl under. I was in his Jeep and didn't have a shovel to dig the badger out. I hooked the winch to the snare and drug him out. That was a mad badger.
I love those things. They look great tube skinned, tanned and hung on the wall, but sure make a mess of a set!

Well done!My youngest boy and I pulled sets this week. We caught a really dumb coyote that got into a walkthrough cat set and a small bobcat. Hopefully we get some sets out in a new area here in the next week or two.
There is a pic of the set the coyote got in. We cable most our cat sets to a tree or drag. This coyote got in the tree and tangled up high. I've never had a coyote up a tree before.
