Undecided , been looking at the SG sky Tallus 6900 and the Kifaru T1 with Duplex hunter frame.
I need the pack for 8-10 day backcountry sheep hunts in BC Canada and then be able to use it compressed for day hunts for deer, bear. Etc and still be able to pack out my animal. I need to be able to attach my rifle on my pack, not very fond of the kifaru gun bearer, don't like my rifle out in front of me and under my arm. The SG quick detach weapon sling looks like it would work good
Would sure like some suggestions from the senior backcountry hunters.

Which pack ( open to all options , not just the above mentioned)
Which is the Best rifle carry method
How big a pack do I really need
Any other considerations

Thanks in advance

You can't go wrong with either pack maker. I'd try each one one, and go with the one that fits your body the best. With these two pack makers, it really is a Chevy/ford decision.

You may want to check out the Exo mountain gear packs. The 5500 compresses down tiny for day hunt but can expand for huge loads. Plus has a load shelf if needed.

They make a really weapon carrier too
