Looking to get a v4 4-16 but with the reticle I want they dont seem to offer the exposed windage turret. For those that have the capped windage, do you use it for dialing wind or just holdover. With the capped windage the turret seems quite small. Curious on peoples thoughts. Thanks
Looking to buy a night vision scope with rangefinder (not thermal) Is the pulsar n455 discontinued? Not looking for the cheapest rather one that works. Thanks
Ok so I got to play with this thing today. When I fire it up from sleep mode both base wind and vector wind are at zero, still no spin drift calculation. When I change the vector wind from zero to one or any number then back to zero again the rangefinder will give a solution for spin drift...
Yes it does appear to show spin drift on the app. Although my app is having some glitches. I assume setting the base wind to zero is turning it off..? Even at 2k yards no wind input on the rangefinder unless I enter a wind value. I will get a chance to play with it tomorrow morning out to...
When ranging with 0 base wind entered , spin drift and coriolis and aero jump turned on the rangefinder never gives a wind input no matter what the range. Is this normal? Doesn't seem like i should have to put in a wind input to get a solution from spin drift? Anyone else seeing the same...
Thanks. Yes added a zero not paying attention... I put the expander ball back in and ran brass back through. All good. Not used to seeing near that much variation. Loaded rounds once fired brass are .316 Usually find the bushing i need and sand expander ball down so it's just a very slight...
Reloading once fired 7 saum adg brass. Loaded rounds virgin brass measured .3015- .30155 . Redding type S bushig die. I have only used redding bushings in the past but couldn't find any so I bought a .313 and .314 from whidden. Expander ball removed. Tried the .314 first and it was sizing...
I don't have a dog in this discussion but I'll share my experience. My 30 nosler had a 26" broughten steel barrel. My load was 84.4 grains n570 running a 215 @3120. Definitely the high node for this rifle but extremely accurate. Noticeable ejector mark but the nosler brass seemed very soft...
