Athlon Cronus G2 Spotting Scope Review

@Huntin_GI This is a solid review. I am looking at both the 65mm (Ares) and the 85mm (Cronos) from Athlon and your review is certainly guiding me toward sucking it up and carrying the extra weight around. Thanks for taking the time to do the review.

Need help finding a quality outfitter with a nice lodge

Check out Wilderness Mule out of Idaho. They hunt the Frank, but seems to have great accommodations for back country camp.

NC archery hunter looking for Western Elk partner

Charlotte, NC over here. Newer to western hunting, but have elk points in Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Colorado. I am wanting to take my son out west to hunt Elk. He is 13 and has points as well. I prefer archery, but he is a gun guy.

NC Mountain Black Bear - Question

Guys, I am a relatively new hunter. Took the sport on as an adult. I have hunted deer several times and I have been interested in doing a North Carolina (I live in Charlotte, NC) black bear hunt. I am curious to understand if you guys think hiking into the Pisgah or Natahala National Forest...

Whitetail - I keep getting winded

My neighbor recently bought an 80 acre plot of land. A good part of the property is being used for a business, but he lets me hunt the back of the property. I have four trail cameras up and two of the spots are getting tons of deer traffic. The issue i'm running into is that I keep getting...

    Eastern Oregon elk

@Bocephus21 How did your elk hunt end up going last year? Did you end up in Chesnimnus? I'm asking as I have an opportunity to hunt this area this year, on some guaranteed tags, for the first rifle season. Your thoughts/experience would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone, I have been a member for a few years, but have not had a chance to do more than just look around. I grew up in Chicago, currently live in NC, and got hooked on elk when I was living in AZ. I also enjoy whitetail hunting and have Moose, Bear, Sheep, and Goat on my list. I find...
