Scent Killer...who uses it?

I do the same. I think it's more psychological (for me) than anything else. I do avoid any scented cleanliness products while hunting. I use scent free toothpaste or baking powder, and, scent free hand sanitizer.. Nothing covers human scent. If the wind shifts, big brown is gone :)

What is your go to bugle and cow call?

Berry Game Call R2 for bugles, grunts, chuckles, growls, moans, popping grunts, etc. :) Berrry blue triple cow diaphram for the cow calls.

What are your elk plans for 2012?

Three or four days in WA's early season in a wilderness area.. Then, on to a glorious two week adventure in Idaho (first year I've hunted ID). Gonna do two backcountry trips for 5+ days. Looking forward to it.. RJ

Frontal Shot?

I probably (never say never) won't take a frontal shot "again" on an elk. The only time I did this was on a 4X5 Roosey at 15 yards or so in 1995. It was darn near self defense. Shot a fencepost (29", GGII 2219) out of my 72lb Darton Viper and buried the arrow over half way, dead center, perhaps...

Hey C2.. the MT app process is easy.. You can download the pdf file on their website.. You have to send in a copy of a bowhunting license from another state (previous year) or proof of BH education.. Silly, yes... Good luck this fall.. Craig said you're supposed to call him in the big one this...
