    Heat Vanes with Fixed Blade

    I am using three fletch heat vanes with a right helical, behind 100 grain qad exodus, and they are grouping very well out to 70 yards. I tried the the same setup with four fletch, and did not see any improvement over the three fletch.

    Axle length

    For me personally, I find anything 34 inch axle to axle, to 36 inch axle to axle is the most forgiving.

    Backcountry - sleeping bag recommendations

    I would highly recommend looking at a western mountaineering bag, I have the antelope model which only weighs 2lb 7oz, I spend roughly 30 plus days in it above 11000 feet to 13500 feet and it has always kept me very warm.

    Trekking Poles

    I highly recommend the black diamond countour with the flick lock, I have been using them for around four years with no issues, also they work great when using them on my tarptent protrail.
