Follow. I have 40 rounds through my 6.5 Prc. I’m using Hornady Precision Hunter and getting well under 1 moa. I figure I’d break in the barrel and save some brass before I start loading. I plan on starting with H4831 also so I’m curious to see what others are getting out of it.
I just shot some 30.25” Axis 300 with a 50gr insert and 100gr field points at 70#. Bullet hole through paper and at 20 yards they are grouping good. Haven’t tried broadheads yet. They are 514gr with 4 fletch AAE. I want to get them a hair lighter so I’m going to try and work down to around 29.5”...
You make a very good point and I can’t argue with that logic. Swaro is definitely known for being “the best”. However, technology is always changing. Vortex obviously thinks their UHD binos can compete with other scopes in that price range.
I thought the Kifaru meat shelf worked well. There is some set up time involved but it’s not bad. I guess it would be easier to throw it in the main bag and put you gear in the dry bag.
