    Thanks for the replies. I was able to get out there this past Saturday and glassed up some elk at first light. Was making my way to them when a pack string of horses crossed between me and the elk and I wasn't able to locate them again after that. Hoping to get back out there this weekend.

    At least the hunt is spread out over an entire month. Also people don't seem to get after it like they would for a bull hunt so pressure might not be too bad.
