Kind of have a small delima. I have 8 points saved up for Deer and Elk in AZ, CO, WY, 7 points in UT, and 2 bonus/2 preference in MT. I never really had a plan when I started buying points other than I wanted to hunting something like unit 100 in WY which was a long shot back when I started...
Looking for a pair of lower priced binoculars, these wont be used for hunting going to keep them on my boat to look at buoys, signs, etc off in the distance, maybe even spotting some birds out on the water type thing w/o going to image stabilizing bincos. Kind of looking for something like a...

Anyone get this http://www.foot.com/site/foot-conditions/sesamoiditis? I'm trying to find an insole to help with it but havent had much luck yet. Tried superfeet green, I'm not sure how you can take the pressure off that part of your toe to begin with.
How is the sizing on this top? I have no idea if I'd need a L or M since I have no place locally to try them on. I'm 5'11" about 155 and most stuff I'm a M, but everyone once in a while a M is a little tight on me. Also anyone know of any sales/discounts from any retailers on their First Lite...
Wasn't sure whether to post this question here or the food section please move if in the wrong spot, but what is everyone packing their food in? I have a 19L compression sack I'm using and I just barely get 7 days worth of food in it. It seems like it should more than enough, I've taken as much...
Those that use chili powder to keep flies off, how much of it is typically needed? Locally I haven't been able to find anything smaller than 3oz which I'm not sure if that's too much or not enough. And will any chili powder work or is there something specific that should be looked for?
I was looking at videos of comparing different fire starting materials instead of using cotton balls/Vaseline all the time and came across this. Basically just using these cubes and a couple rocks. REI's site says the cubes can be extinguished and reused, just wonder if they smell after that...
I have about $700 to spend on a spotter and binocs. Any recommendations on what I should be looking at. I don't have a spotter right now and have some Nikon Prostaff 7. I've been looking at the Zen Ray ED binocs and the Minox MD 50.
Easy on the joint workouts???
I've been hitting the treadmill since Jan. At first it was all ok, but recently I've noticing my knees and ankles hurting(I don't have the strongest knees to begin with and some minor ankle issues). Can anyone recommend some low impact workouts that I can do at...
Crazy story when you read through it all.

I've always heard(and not sure were, prob the net) that 1lb on your feet/ankles is the same as 5lbs on your back. Does anyone know if this is actually true? If I throw on two 10lbs weights(one on each ankle, 20lbs total) does that mean it's roughly the same as 100lbs on my back?
Since this fall will be my first DIY western hunt, I'm curious what everyone does in terms of how early they get up and how late they stay out and head back to camp. When I whitetail hunt, I'm in my stand 30 mins before daylight and I come out when I can't see my pin or through my scope anymore...
I've been working out at a local gym for a couple weeks now and not sure if what I'm doing is the best for me or if I should change it up. I work out 4 days a week, mainly on a treadmill. I do 3 miles with a small incline and I plan on increasing the incline and distance every couple weeks. I...
Anyone able to recommend a small/lightweight/inexpensive tarp? Not looking for anything big 5x5, 6x6 7x7 or something around that size, and waterproof of course. Everything I'm finding online is pretty big size and usually $75+, was hoping for find something for $20-$30 if anyone has any ideas...
Is it common to have a fire at your camp(not a stove your brought). I've read that it's not good due to the scent it puts off or could attract bears. What's everyone else do when they hike back a few miles? Fire or not fire at camp?
Just curious how long it takes people to get to their camp from their truck, in hours and how many miles in from your truck? If you move from day to day how long does it take to get to your first spot typically. Assuming it's early or mid season and fair weather going up a mountain.
Anyone ever use this or something like it. Seemed like a good thing to get until I saw the price, figured I can make it for $100 in materials or around that. Definitely be a lot easier on the back and it has a brake for going down hill. Would kind of look at it the way Luke/Becca do w/those...
