Thanks guys think I'll stick with it until it fails. My gun likes it and should tighten up a little more. The speed only has about 25 rounds in it. This is my first Browning and I love it. so comfortable and and accurate!
I shot my new browning HC Speed in 308. Seemed to like 178 eldx hunter. Should I stick with this for hunting or keep looking. Most of my hunting is whitetail but will be hunting out west more too. How does eldx perform?
I purchased a Browning HC speed with the duratouch stock. Is it ok to use hoppes no 9, or clp to clean action? I don't want to harm stock if any gets on it. Is there a cleaner copper remover that wil not harm it? Thamks
Just purchased a Browning speed in 308 topped with Leupold vx3i 4.5x14x50 burnt bronze to match. Great looking and feeling package. What factory loads to start with is the question? I no every rifle is different and I have to find its favorite load but just looking for a starting point as ammo...
Looking to trade my Tikka with vortex crossfire2 6x18x44 with AO. 40 rounds fired in excellent condition. Looking for a Winchester 70 EW in 30-06 or maybe other caliber. Let me no what you have . I'm me phone nu!be r and I can send pics. Located in michigan
Left zone 20 with no luck. Hunters everywhere. Driving quads and side xsides , all over the place spooking animals onto private ranches. Had a great time but animal numbers were low and Hunter numbers high.
Lol well I guess you can't argue that. I'm definitely leaning towards the 70 I'm hoping to maybe find the tungsten model with the brake. But they don't seem to be available.
The recoil is very comfortable in the 6.5 T3X. But I almost prefer the savage 30-06, I think the accustock is just more comfortable to me. And it is definitely a more stout and stiff stock. I can't stop looking at the Winchester 70 EW now. I just might be selling both of my rifles after my...
I just researched the Winchester 70 ext. Ss
Looks fantastic. But how are the new winchesters reliability? And has anyone tried the new 70 tungsten with brake? Thanks
Thanks guys. A lot of good info and plenty to think about. I'm an old school guy and used to 30 caliber rifles. But I love the easy shooting of the creedmoor. Just seems under powered for big animals. To be fair I have not killed anything with it yet. Going to wyoming in a couple weeks for...
I now use a Tikka T3X, 6.5 creed and a Savage 110 storm in 30-06. Both shoot great but was thinking of selling and just buy one new rifle. What would be a good rifle and scope for 1500 dollar limit? Not sure on caliber but want to be able to shoot deer, elk and maybe moose. Thanks.
