I’d really like to grab a set of First Lite Sanctuary 2.0 jacket and bibs, I’ve read countless reviews saying the bibs are slim in the waist/stomach area. Can anyone share with me their experience with these bibs in 3XL ??? I am 6’1, 305lb with a gut and I’m worried the 3xl bibs will be too slim...
6-48 Scope base screws… Leupold recommends 22in/lb for their Cross Slot 1 piece base… I already torqued it down to 25 in/lb . Should I re-torque to the suggested 22 in/lb, or am I over thinking it??? No optic mounted yet. Thanks.
I have 4 new boxes of Winchester Power Point .308 150gr ammunition. I only wish to trade for .308 150gr Hornady American Whitetail, or .270 Win 130gr Hornady American Whitetail. I’ll trade my 4 boxes for 2-3 boxes, as I do not need this anymore.
Is the 100th Anniversary Super X Power Point ammunition the same as the standard silver box ammunition? Just a anniversary box ? Haven’t heard back from Bud’s or Winchester.
I’ve got a .280 Remington Model 700 Mountain rifle, it’s a real picky SOB. It doesn’t like Core Lokt 140’s, and it doesn’t like Hornady PH 150’s.. a local dealer sells the HSM soft point ammunition, offered in a heavy-for-caliber 160gr bullet. Seems like it would be a good woods load if my gun...

What would you suggest for a .270 WIN whitetail round from 20-200 yards? Preferably something that will stay together at close range and pass through. Hornady Interlock and the Nosler Partition 130’s come to mind. Any suggestions?
I’m looking for Hornady American Whitetail in .270 Win, 130gr..
I have 17 Rem Core Lokt in .308 150gr , and 20 Winchester Super X in .308 180gr. Will trade.
I also have 30-40 .280 Rem brass 1-shot, I would trade for .270 Hornady American Whitetails.
I did some searching on the subject, reviews are mixed. My specific scenario. I have a Hells Canyon Speed in .270 Win that I’d like to take the brake off. I don’t feel I need it on this rifle and it absolutely piss pounds my ears. I’m sighted an inch high at 100 and probably won’t shoot past 200...
Well It’s like this boys, I can get an absolute smoking deal on a Browning Hells Canyon in 28 Nosler, topped with a Leupold VX 3 3.5-10x50. Now my shots will be anywhere from 40 yards to 400 yards on whitetail deer.. Is this thing gonna be just too hot at that 40 yards to 100 yards range, on...
