Thanks that was helpful.
I’ve heard of it in New York. Vermont is making you butcher the deer out there and not bring any bones from the deer to Vermont. That means no heads from a buck either. Just the antlers. Isn’t CWD transmitted through the bone marrow?
😂 no luck opening day of rifle, except I did kill a coyote that chased a deer away. I thought it winded me or something, but then a few minutes later a couple of coyotes showed up. And peta says they only eat field mice.😒 Anyways I got real lucky with a 190 pound 10 two years ago. It’s the...
The big one was supposed to be a shed hunting duck retrieving dog but his elbows ended up being displaced. Great personality, so he’s the family dog now. The little one showed up this morning from some folks in Idaho. Of course he had to show up on opening day of rifle…

Good evening everyone
So I live in the third worst state for deer hunting (you guessed it, Vermont!), and I don’t know if anyone else who lives in VT has noticed a downtrend in the population or sign of deer in Vermont. I’m in WMU o which usually has a pretty good density in terms of Vermont...
