Brand new in box. My son outgrew these before he could use them. Wide toebox accommodates bunion feet but also just nice to have toe space. These have the leather insoles and inner liners that are super comfy. Not-gore-Tex, use traditional leather conditioning for waterproofing. These were $260...
I bought these on a hunting trip as my Leupold binos that failed during a mule deer hunt this last (3rd) season in CO. Field use is only 3 days. Mint condition. I still have all the original items (box, unfilled warranty card, caps, and the original receipt).
Price is $800 and I'll include 3...
Yeah for sure man...and I always worry I'd pull the field point on accident when nocking for an elk too...btw I got the link wrong, try this. https://simple-shot.com/
Man that's tough...hate to say but I'd look for an area that allows stage 1 restriction legal shepherd stove...keep it warm in the tent. I wouldn't mess with not knowing if I could have water available or not.
Lol... It wasn't easy....took me a few failed attempts. I am going out tomorrow with my .22lr....used the slingshot because I didn't want to spook the elk during the hunt, but it's between seasons now. Check out simpleshot.com they're not your father's slingshot. I use the hammer with 1/2 steel...
Sole foodbeds are hands down the best affordable custom footbed out there. Buy them to fit your arch and then trim the tip to match length.

I just bought the nomad, a pro hood, grab-it, medium hip pouches for day trips and hauling meat, and a cavern for multiday trips. It's a similar setup to what I had with eberlestock, but much nicer. I really like the versatility of it. Bring both setups with me in case I need more or less space...
Man, I just shot my first grouse last week with a slingshot while elk hunting. I've run into them before but never prepared...after eating it, holy crap... tastiest bird I've ever had. Now I'm hooked and searching all over for their habitats closer to home. Nice work on your hunt!
I've had many bulls chase me over fences as a kid. Not so much with the steer and cows/heifers thus far...they tend to walk your way for food as I saw someone else post....but that doesn't mean they won't turn on ya. I always make sure I have a solid escape plan. Biggest danger this far for me...
Solid plan man, the only thing I didn't see is be sure to keep the family balanced with all the time spent hunting. (If that's a factor for you). It can mean the difference between fighting for the time away vs being encouraged to do it. I'd say that has been my biggest challenge this far.
