Probably my most memorable hunt ever took place this year.
I had just got home from an awesome DIY hunt in Colorado in late October. With being gone for 10 days I had been holding back from any mention of an evening or morning sit in the stand.
On a Saturday morning my almost 4-year-old had...
My father and I drew Bull elk tags for the 2022, 1st rifle season. My father is 64 and he has never been west of St. Louis, so I could not be more excited to take him on this trip. We will be going DIY and staying on the Mtn. I have been to this unit before with a friend that hunted it for...

Enjoy!!
I purchased a 300 win mag used and it came with some rounds,
150 grain. What do you guys like to shoot.
The gun will probably only be used for bear and elk. It shoots good with the 150s but am thinking I should bump up to 180s. And suggestions?
I am looking at getting a light system for inside my SO courthouse tent. We always used to use a propane lantern but with the new tent I am looking into other options.

Myself and 2 others are applying for a Colorado 1st season rifle elk hunt. Should have a pretty good chance at drawing.
How do you guys travel?
We will be driving about 1600 miles straight through each way in a truck more than likely with a tonneau cover. Probably going to bring an old...

After lots of research I purchased a Seek Outside Court...
