Mule deer. In the northern part of the unit it looks like roads/trails all over those mountains. Are people running those roads on atvs or trucks? Definitely not looking to walk up the steepest slope there. Will be on foot when leaving the truck. No horses or atvs.
I have had vortex binos for years but never sent in for warranty repair. My Diamondback 12x50 have a lot of slop and clicking in the focus adjuster. I was wondering what typical turnaround time has been for anyone mailing in their binos for repair ?
Road salt ate up my 2001 Silverado pretty bad on rocker panels and bed even with washing during winter. Is the aluminum body F150 a good problem solver for that?
Arriving in Idaho unit 29 on Oct 12 and have been doing a lot of map research. First time in that unit and was seeing plenty of trails/roads that appear to summit some of the ridges or at least a good way up. Would it be a mistake to park at the bottom and hike in only be passed by someone in...

Keeping the battery wrapped in clothing or placed in the middle of a full pack helps insulate. If it's really cold try to keep it close enough to get some body heat in your pack or pocket.
I once did a drop in workout at a crossfit gym that was using their broken handle kettlebells as door stops. Pretty horrifying sight. Needless to say I wasn't standing in front of anyone doing swings at that gym.
I ran into the same thing in Virginia last year. Must have been a tick nest of babies. I was in shorts and felt like something was moving on my shin but didn't see anything. Bent down to look closer and was horrified to see 50+ tiny ticks spreading fast. Way too small to pinch with your fingers...
Yes to kettlebells!!!
I started usings kbs a little over 10 years ago and its now the #1 item I'd choose to use forever. They make me a more stable and balanced strong. I've never had any significant Injury or severe soreness that prevented me from working out from kbs. Plenty of workouts...
Mystery Ranch Beartooth pack only, Sawtooth pack and Guide Lite MT frame and Daypack bivy (which attaches to the frame).
All bought less than a year ago. Beartooth was used on 1 elk hunt, no blood. Sawtooth and the daypack/bivy have never
been in the woods. Both packs fit the same frame...
