I was wondering if anyone knew of any non toxic rifled slugs available. I found discontinued ones by BPI but no more to be had. Any other alternatives for reloading?
I bought an owl call and a crow call. I am thinking Owl early morning/evening and crow mid day. Time to start driving the roads, can't wait, burning PTO on yard birds.
If you have onX it gives the landowners mailing address, at least for my state. Can always knock on the door also if there is a house on it. Cant help on the price tag.
They follow the food, what food source was around? Any berries or mast? Was it ripe, ripening, or gone already. Any freshly chewed or dug out stumps or logs around? What was the color of the exposed wood? Any rocks flipped over recently in the rock piles?
You can mouth call them but you need to go for about 45 minutes or an hour, don't pass out. I Don't know the regs for CO but if you can use an electric caller you could save a lot of breath. They will be coming in hot so be ready.
Try the backside of the mountains in 11 and 13. Pick up a bear tag also, lots of yogi’s in there. Archery bear opens in a little over a month if you do any archery hunting, im counting the days.
I have never had any problems with people messing with my cars or myself. If I see anyone its a hiker passing through the area. When i lived in texas i had to replace driver side windows twice a year, have not had to replace one yet in 25 years I have been in CA.

My understanding is that territories slightly over lap, for females anyway, that's why it take a population of them so long to get distributed because when new cubs start claiming a territory it will always slightly overlap an existing one. Males have a lot larger range that will overlap...
