Promaster XC-M 525c vs Old XC-525C

Is the updated XC- M 525C Promaster worth considering if I cannot find an older model hiding somewhere. My brother has the older XC-525C and I really like it. Any real world reviews of the 2 stage centre column? There isn't anywhere to look before I buy where I live so I appreciate honest feedback.

It seems like a lot of guys prefer the 6900 over the 7900. Is there a reason for that besides the 6 ounce difference?

Ultimate dedicated hunting rig?

My current build is 95 4Runner, 3.4 swapped, dual transfer cases, and 4.88s with ARB lockers front-rear. It is going to be great for getting the family into the back country. If I didn’t have kids my dream rig would be a 75 series Landcruiser UTE or a 4WD sprinter van camperized.

Canada US border open?!?!
