A flat-top you can cook on...yeah, but the cylinder is lighter. It's better to have more capacity and not need it...but why buy more horsepower than I'll ever use?

In the end, I decided that the Lite Outdoors regular-sized, 18" cylinder was the way to go. I'll preface it by saying that were money no object I'd have gotten a SO large flat top. I just couldn't justify the price difference.

So, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, for richer but really a bit poorer, I'm inextricably married to a SO tipi and a LO stove. Life could be a lot worse! Actually I'm thrilled and looking forward to both!

Yep, a marriage could be a lot worse. She'll keep you warm on those cold nights, so she's a keeper.
