Yeah, they’re maybe a touch better.
Good deal, just a little slimmer would be nice.

That is no mag. Have not tested with empty mag. I’ll do that before I take it out tomorrow to shoot. The TDS has an average of 4.11lbs pull. I’m assuming thats without a mag in it? How much does it change when it has a mag in it?
Forgive me for a slight derailment but how many guys are actually conceal carrying 2011s? I went to my LGS today and got my paws on a Stacatto C. It felt like it was meant for my hand, but damn those are big hunks of metal! I have no doubts about its shootability, but based on the size it seems like a range toy (or comp gun). If people are hiding these on their body I need to learn what they’re doing.

I’ve been happy with a tenicor velo for stacatto c.Forgive me for a slight derailment but how many guys are actually conceal carrying 2011s? I went to my LGS today and got my paws on a Stacatto C. Second. The velo is a good one.I’ve been happy with a tenicor velo for stacatto c.
Definitely concealable if you want to, especially if you aren't just wearing gym clothes around. Get a good EDC ratchet belt, pant size 2-4 inches bigger than normal, and as Form said, a good IWB appendix holster. Commander sized guns like the Staccato C are absolutely doable.
I did my 1st IDPA match yesterday (didn't shoot myself, anyone else, nor get DQ'd - so it was a success). That being said, we all got schooled by the lone woman there. She was appendix carrying a Sig P229 in yoga shorts and t-shirt. You couldn't tell she was carrying, so gym clothes may still be possible. : )

You edc a p320 appendix?
A good appendix holster. I know quite a few dudes CCW’ing every waking minute out of their houses with 2011’s- I did too for 4-5 years.
Shot the DS Warrior today for the first time.
I'm a half step above novice with a pistol, have never really enjoyed shooting them, and have never found it intuitive. A goal this year is to catch up with my bolt gun know-how, and this thread pushed me in the right direction.
Shootability compared to the usual M&Ps I carry is noticeably better. Shot irons at 10m better than I ever have, and I'm actually excited about shooting a pistol.
Going to try to get to the range with it at least once a week this year and see how much I can improve.
Great thread.
Great tip on the dry fire practice, will incorporate that for sureNice, looking forward to hearing how the DS Warriors do, they look great so far.
If you want to really get a command of pistols, dry-firing 15 mins a night with one range session a week of less than 200rds, will put you much further ahead than one 500rd range session per week with no dry fire.
