Side view of the wide ram. He's a little thin but the width gives him style points.

That shows how tight the curl is on the 2nd ram.

Nice pics your scouting photo has bigger rams, the key is to find one you are happy with. Enjoy the hunt! sheep hunts are few and far between in the lower 48.

Still looking...

Hunted the other end of the unit yesterday, just a few smaller Rams and lots of ewes and lambs.

We checked out one more new spot this morning. Gonna head back to the drainage where we saw the Rams on Saturday this afternoon and see if they have any buddies with them.

Keep looking, it took me 8 days to find the mature shooter rams and 15 days total until i dropped the one in my avatar. The biggest ram I found was a loner that showed himself for a couple minutes before running out of the country never to be seen again.

Hey guys, sorry for no updates, we ended up hunting the last 3 days I was there without cell service.

No ram down...yet.

All told we saw 30 or so rams of various ages, and a couple hundred sheep total. 2 nice bull elk, 2 muley bucks and my buddy killed a 6'1" Black bear...good trip overall!
