I recently purchased 6.5 PRC Petersen brass from Unknown and it showed up today in a plastic bag. This caused most of the case necks to be dinged and bent, which I fixed with my neck expander mandrel but I find that to be a slight annoyance. I purposely buy Peterson brass because it has always showed up in great shape and saved me prep time. I have purchased 6 boxes of 7 PRC brass from them and they all show up in nice plastic boxes with the lot info on the box. We use that lot info when obtaining annealing info from Peterson.
Is this the new norm for Peterson? I know lapua has gone this route and its not ideal.
