I am using H4350 for my 7 SAUM. Shooting 175 gr ELDX at 2.935” oal. Forgot the exact charge weight but I am getting 2730 FPS. I could go way hotter but these shoot really well and I want to get a lot of life out of my brass. Still puts my effective hunting range out past 800 yds.

What’s your barrel length?

Down to my last 6 virgin brass. Going to be using 1x fired. Just trying to get closer to 2750. I’m curious to see what rl26 does as well.
RL26 will wake it up... quite a bit more speed than H1000. I am running 184 bergers at 2790 FPS with N565 out of a 22".

Hit pressure (heavy bolt) super early on 1x fired brass and rl26. Speeds never got up there. Finally got 2720 with h1000 around 64.0 grains. Probably just going to call it good and move on.

I guess that isn’t terrible far off from mine considering your barrel is 2” shorter and the hornady usually seem to run a bit slower compared to bergers. I figured RL26 would would be the ticket

I found 5lbs of both H4350 and RL23 for my coming together 7SAUM Tikka build. Gonna be built in the long action config with a short 18" barrel using ADG Brass.

I can't wait to start messing around with some of these loads and see what I can squeeze out of it.

Anyone using rl23? Can’t find 26 but have a pound of 23.
Nosler lists data for R23 for their 185gr RDF bullet. 0.5gr less than R22

Also Speer has data with H4350 for their 145gr bullets

Wanted to bump this thread.

worked up to 57.5 gr H4350 in my 22in 7 SAUM short action behind 168 gr HPBTs. 2821 avg MV ES 17 SD 7.1. No pressure signs, I could probably go a bit higher but that was just break in. Want to start working with my actual hunting bullets (168 and 175 ABLRs) and see what I get.

What COALs are you running with the 168s? Im at 57.8gr with 143gr HHs with no pressure signs, the load just shoots too good to mess with. I was just curious for when I pump to a heavier bullet. With ADG brass and H4350 I wonder on pushing the manual a little bit.

I think we just messaged over on Hammer’s forum! Small world.

Anyway I am loading them at 2.280in Base to Ogive. I don’t measure OAL and I don’t have any loaded up at the moment unfortunately. That gives me a little over .020 off the lands and fits in an AICS mag.
