A few gel tests

ELD-M is impressive. How much meat loss with a shot that is not a meat saver shot?
Never used this bullet but it looks like there could be a fair amount of meat loss.
Maybe I'm wrong?

Curious what a terminal ascent bullet wound cavity would look like. I've had good luck with them thus far.

This is where it takes some understanding about reading gel blocks. The gel shows the whole temporary cavity, not the true crush cavity that is permanent. The 77gr TMK, 103gr ELD-X, and 108gr ELD-M are similar with the 6mm’s producing a slightly larger wound channel. The 100gr TGK however produces a measurably and noticeably narrower wound channel than the other three.

Blackhills has gel shots with the 77gr TMK on their website. I will look to see if any of the others are public.
I was rooting around on Blackhills site and couldn't find any gel test data.

I see you have the 7mm 175 gr eldx in your jacket thickness. Are you going to be gel testing it soon?
I am not going to do any more gel stuff until fall when I have more time and ouside temperature is 30-40deg. I am going to test 7mm 175eldx, 175eh, 183smk nr. If anyone has a used nose ring cutter for sale let me know.

Any thoughts how a 6 ARC 95 TMK stacks up to the 77 TMK .22 cal? Or is the 108 Match the go to in the 6mm platform?

I somehow missed this thread last spring (CBC on the brain I guess), thank you @eoperator for doing the hard and messy work! Beats the hell out of phone books, milk jugs, or non organic gel!! I'd send some of the 106 Hornady bullets if you're still planning on doing more of these.
