I don't know about you guys who are using this jig, but I really love it. I love how you can clean it with acetone (I actually leave mine in a jug of acetone until next time I use it and it always comes out squeaky clean) and how it gives you max helical.

My problem was the pins that hold the clamps in place kept sliding out after some use is on the jig. I'm sitting my my shop and one would slide out while I was fletching and I could not find it for the life of me.

So I took the vane arm that was now loose and off I went to the local hardware store. I found some tiny stainless machine screws that would barely thread into the plastic hole in the arm. Now no more lost pins and the jig works perfectly like before. No clearance issues. No, I don't remember the size of the screw and I should have written that down. I think it was an inch long, phillips head. I think they might have been 3-56 but I honestly cannot remember so sorry about that.

But here is a pic of the mod.
