best puffy jacket and pants

looking for a good set of puffys to throw in the pack and put on once i get into the stand. was looking at the first lite uncompahgre.

If you are wearing under an outerlayer, the face fabric of the puffies shouldn’t be too loud. If you are wearing them over the top, you might want to consider something with a quiet face material (such as the Kenai from Kuiu or the Cirque Jacket from Stone Glacier). The Uncompahgre is ok—not the warmest, or most compressible, but decent as far as synthetic goes. You can save a ton in weight if you go with a down layer.

I have an Uncompaggre. Decent jacket but certainly not in the same ballpark as others when it comes to warmth. If you don’t need camo, lots of better options become available.
