A dictator would have simply done away with the supreme court.

Putting together a committee is a political move to appease someone ( in this case the progressive branch ), showing that "you're listening". It doesn't mean anything will actually happen, even if the recommendation is for change. This has been done thousands of times before.

Name one other time when legislation has been proposed to expand the court. The last time it was brought up seriously, the slightly less demented Biden called it a bonehead idea.

now the bonehead is opening the door himself.

does it not bother you in the least that he has ruled largely by EOs and also the nature of the EOs? Really? Where’s the consensus he called for? Where is the “unity?”

you are lying to yourself if you think this stuff is normal or will not cause more damage to the country. We are in a cold civil war if you haven’t noticed, this is meant to further that. If you don’t understand the mentality and politics of the people really pushing these ideas, you aren’t doing your homework.

Via executive order...

Gentlemen, you are being ruled by a demented dictator who is using his “power” to change systems to bend to the whim of a radical party.

what say ye ?
To be fair, Creepy Joe is not a demented dictator. Yes demented, he needs help getting his shoes on the right foot. He is simply a puppet. So will be the mattress queen or anyone else posing as leader of the Democrat Socialist Party. The radical America hating leftist cabal is who is ruling this country now, the White House takes orders from them. Includes Comrade Nancy and smilin possum Schumer. They will attempt to take power in anyway they can. They KNOW they will not succeed with every attempt. They'll be happy if they can accomplish half of their tainted agenda. Their army of blind dumb sheep will continue to be fed in the meantime...

I'm sorry, but progressive democrats bringing progressive bills to the floor are doing exactly what their constituents asked them to do. It doesn't mean the bill will even be brought to vote, nor that it will pass. Bad bills are proposed all the time and most make it nowhere.

Once again, forming a commission is far from ruling by EO.

This has gone past recommendations. It is now in the "common sense" realm...

Nothing this presidency does will benefit the nation. Nothing.

No, that isn't right. The radical leftists/socialists are asking their socialist leaders to do this. They are the minority in their own Party. The blind dumb sheep make up the majority, and a few of them are starting to wake up. This along with doing away with the filibuster are power grabs being made by these America hating socialists in order to accelerate their iron fist seizure of power. No doubt, as I have said, they know they can't get it all. But by going for the extremes they will actually obtain some of them completely and with the rest set the stage for future attempts. Remember when Creepy Joe said he'd be working for all Americans including those who didn't vote for him? Remember when his Cabinet would look like America?
And the sheep ate it up like clover. Creepy Joe is a puppet for the globalists, he works for no good American. And if his Cabinet looked like America half of them would be conservative Trump supporters.

No, that isn't right.

Ed Markey

"Markey is a progressive who has focused on climate change and energy policy and was chair of the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming from 2007 to 2011."

Mondaire Jones

"Mondaire Jones is a progressive community leader running for the U.S. House in New York's 17th District"

Hank Johnson

"Congressman Hank Johnson has distinguished himself as a substantive, effective lawmaker and a leading national progressive voice."

Yes, Engels and Marx used the word, "Progressive". It has been adopted by the libs because it sounds like sweet clover to their sheep. "Progressives" are really the most regressive fools on the planet.
Radical American hating liberals did indeed bring this bill forward led by The Penguin himself. But they did not bring it forth to do what "their" constituents want. Only what the minority, the American hating leftist, want them to do. And their own globalist masters of course.

What does that have to do with the topic?

Oh, nothing. Which is why the Supreme Court thing has gotten ridiculous. How do you make the problem of the border go away? Propose asinine legislation to distract. those kids are still in cages, still flooding to the border and there are still no answers.

But maybe I’m being cynical...nah...

They all won fairly decisive elections...

Ed Markey - 66.2%
Hank Johnson - 80.1%
Mondaire Jones - 59.3%

Again, the majority of those percentages that voted for them are not "progressive" America hating socialists. They are blind dumb sheep. They don't even know who or what they are voting for in reality. They have no concept of the issue from A-Z, from abortion to Zionism. They know what their government schools tell them, what their leftist media tells them, what Hollyweird tells them. Many of them will stay under that ether, but many are waking up to the fact that "Progressives" are really America hating Commies. Seizing the courts and doing away with checks and balances is just the beginning of proof....
Nadler and Johnson are truly vile parasites. I'm surprised crazy Mazie hasn't joined them yet on this, I guess the Senate will get their chance

Nadler says it’s “unpacking the court.”

just watch to see who repeats that over and over.

Just like everywhere else in America, it sure appears that liberals absolutely hate meritocracy, hard work, and people actually doing their jobs. They want to reward the lazy, the stupid, and the incompentent while penalizing everyone else. So why should we expect their view of the SCOTUS to be any different?

The problem with American now rejecting meritocracy is that the rest of the 1st world isn’t. We keep handing out participation trophies and the cultures around the world who prioritize, emphasize and reward hard work (hint: the reward of hard work is what those who continually work hard earn) will eat our lunch while we wonder “what happened?”

But at least we’ll all feel good in the mean time...

What I find most annoying and crazy about this is we meritocrats are the financial backbone of all the vote buying that these liberals want to finance.

I read an article earlier today were Mike Rowe got bashed for suggesting that minimum wage jobs were stepping stones to better things. McDonalds burger boy, or girl, isn't supposed to be a lifelong career? Novel concept.

Interesting that even SCOTUS doesn't think changing the court structure is wise. It is also interesting that the rulings of the court really don't follow conservative or liberal ideology as is exists today. If that is truly the end goal, and they do get the justices they want, they will be disappointed.
