Picked up a pair of Kenetrek Mountain Extreme on sale. Had to try them for the price. Should have done this year's ago! As I age,my ankles have taken on a mind of their own. Love the support. I haven't done any hiking under load,but break in is going great. I've been grooming my gear to be lighter and higher quality. These have yet to disappoint.
