CA Bear Rifle Opener

Curious who is ready to get out for the bear opener. I have a good idea of where I want to hunt but this will be my first time personally hunting bears if anybody has any advice it is greatly appreciated.

Find the feed, find the bears. Right now in NorCal they'll be in Manzanita and maybe starting to climb white oaks for acorns (a touch early for acorns depending on where you are). Also will be tearing up any apple orchard they can get to as well as hitting black berry patches.
