In Tony'd article/test re: 6.5 PRC Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT....he states the barrel length is actually 18.5" and with the supplied side baffle brake it's 20".

Being a lefty...I am considering making the investment. I realize when measuring barrel length you include the chamber and don't start at the front of the action or lug.

But you're already losing a shit ton of FPS loping it to 20". 18.5" would be a deal breaker.

Anyone have one and able to chime in? CA contact numbers were garbage attempting to get someone to pick up a phone for a 20 second question answer.

I asked him (TT) about the listed fps from him Munitions box. A 156 at 2950fps out of a 18.5" tube seems beyond unreal.

Anyone have real world speeds out of 143/147 in a 6.5 PRC in a short tube?

I know it’s not exactly what you’re looking at but I’m sending 168 vlds out at 2900 on a FFT 280ai. Using rl26. No pressure signs

I have a 16” that’s getting 2625 right now with less than 50 rounds through it. My 18” barrel is getting 2750 with about 150 rounds through it. That’s all with unknown munitions mayhem line with the 156 Bergers.

I’m at 2820 with 156s out of a 20” tube on a CA Ridgeline compared to 2930 out of another Ridgeline with a 24” tube with the same bullets. I’ll take the shorter handier barrel every time
