Camping

I am currently in my 10th day in camp on a project. I have been living this life for a long while. Just out of curiosity - how many days do you folks camp per year? Work? Play? Summer? Winter?

Before I retired, I was in a remote camp 4-6 months primarily summer and fall. About 50 years.

Last year was the first year I actually kept track of this and had 60 nights sleeping in my tent.

It depends on what you consider camping I guess...usually 10 or so nights in a camper at the deer lease. Then another 10 nights or so in a tent on public land weekend trips. Spring break we normally rent a cabin somewhere and stay a week.

I try to get out and camp 20-30 days a year

5-15 nights a year but our humidity and bugs make it rough in the south
